If you want to sign one of the petitions, you will be able to this weekend. There are 'Signing Stations' (drive-ways at different homeowner's houses). Click here to see the times, dates, addresses (and maps). If you already have some petitions that are signed, you can drop them off at a signing station.

UPDATED!!! State Law Says HOA can't Ban Petitioning in Public Areas

ARS 33-1808

The Arizona Revised Statutes 33-1808 state that the association can not prohibit the use of association's public property for the reasonable circulation of political petitions. I sent the board an email this afternoon. See the email and read the details here.

The Board and the budget.... There is some good news, but it's not a pretty story. The Budget & Finance Committee and particularly the chair, Jim Fischer, have done a lot of good work. Board Stops Bylaws Petition Signing

It is becoming hard to believe. .

First the Board were okay with having homeowners look at the petitions, and sign them or not, in the Clubhouse, before, and then after the next Community Meeting. They even granted permission in writing. But then they changed their minds a couple of days later and said that the homeowners may not do any petition signing on any of the HOA grounds. Not the Clubhouse, not the Oasis, nowhere on HOA property! Read the details here.
